In recent years, much British and American young adult fiction has been edited for German learners of English. This seminar will first of all introduce university students to some of the most popular novels – with topics including drunk driving, suicide, rape, gang war. It will also give them some ideas of how to teach them to 15-16 year olds at German high schools.
