This course aims at equipping student teachers with basic planning and analytical skills prior to school placements (BA 2008, MoEd 2007) and the ‘Praxissemester’ (MoEd 2011). A lesson planning workshop (double session) will provide student teachers with basic planning and decision making skills. We will analyse videotaped English lessons and discuss learning outcomes and processes for the various skills and systems of language (lexis, grammar). Guidelines and methodological tools for preparing your Studienprojekt will also be introduced and discussed.
