Kurzkommentar |
First meeting: 24 April 2017
We strongly recommend that you attend the "Introduction to TEFL" together with the "Grundlagenseminar Fachdidaktik Englisch" in the same semester, as the MAP covers topics dealt with in both classes.
Please note that if you are not present at the first meeting, you run the risk of losing your place.

This course familiarizes students with the principles and procedures of teaching English as a foreign language in early and intermediate stages. Students following this course are encouraged to explore a wide range of approaches to teaching a foreign language, covering the five language skills (listening, speaking, mediating, reading, and writing), as well as focusing on the role of vocabulary and grammar. This course will also cover topics like language assessment, working with fictional texts and the analysis of course books.
